HoodGuard™ - Blemished

I was previously gifted the light guards after installing I decided to purchase the tail guard, hood guard and cover guard completing the full kit and making the full guard kit. Definitely worth the investment and the extra insurance especially now nowadays. The fit and finish is phenomenal. The fitment was great and the installation videos were helpful if you were unsure which order some of the parts went in.

I looked to see what the blemish was and couldn’t find anything visually wrong with the hood guard. It was REALLY tight to fit it onto the hood latch assembly. After the bolt and washer fell off of the Allen wrench, I put some tape on the bolt (the washer is somewhere in the realm of the lost 10mm sockets) and had zero issues attaching it. Great product, well built and easy to install.

This was a great deal. I figured this is being mounted under the hood where no one will see it, so if I could save a few bucks on a blemished part it was well worth it. And OBD did not disappoint. It was a little tricky to install, but stick a little tacky grease on the end of the hex key and it will keep the hex bolt adhered while you fish it around the back of the latch. I opted not to remove the front grille, since I just got my truck the same day. Otherwise, very happy with HoodGuard. OBD answered all my pre-sales questions (and I had a lot) and shipping was very quick. I highly recommend buying from Omaha Bravo Designs, he is a straight shooter, sells damn good products and stands behind everything he says.
