Figures above are the published module specifications for the sPOD systems we stock. The “per 30 A circuit” column below divides a light’s draw into one 30 A channel — it is a current calculation only, and does not account for inrush, wire gauge, connector rating, or the total 100 A budget shared across all circuits. Always wire and fuse to the instructions supplied with your harness and switch system.

How these numbers are worked out: watts are the Baja Designs factory rating for the light in its high-power mode (verified Aug 7, 2026). Amps are calculated as watts ÷ volts. Two figures are shown because vehicle voltage is not fixed: 12.0 V is the resting battery figure and gives the higher, more conservative amp number; 13.8 V is roughly what a running alternator supplies, which is what the light actually sees most of the time. Size a circuit on the 12 V column if you want headroom.
Pair draw is simply two of the same light on one circuit — the usual install. Lights per 30 A circuit divides one 30 A sPOD channel by the 13.8 V draw and rounds down. It is arithmetic, not an installation recommendation: it ignores inrush current, wire gauge, connector ratings, and the 100 A total shared budget. Baja does not publish lumen or wattage ratings for every model; where wattage is unavailable the row shows a dash rather than a guess.
Always follow the wiring instructions supplied with your harness and switch system. These figures are a planning reference, not a substitute for the manufacturer's fitting instructions. If you are unsure, ask us before you wire it.
