These custom-designed tailgate support brackets are made specifically for Ford Super Duty trucks equipped with slide-in truck campers. If you want to load your camper while keeping the tailgate down — but don't want to remove it — this is your solution.
The brackets utilize the existing tailgate cable support mounting holes, making installation simple and non-permanent. No drilling, welding, or modifications are required.

What is the STG?
Static Tailgate (STG) is a slide-in truck camper bracket designed to eliminate the hassle of having to remove your truck's tailgate just to run your slide-in camper.
Why do I need the STG?
If you need to frequently remove your slide-in camper then you are going to be removing and re-installing your tailgate everytime you want to install your slide-in camper.
The STG allows you to run certain slide-in campers with the tailgate still installed so you dont have to spend the time messing with your tailgate nor risk damaging it in the removal/re-install process.
ALSO - you dont have to worry about the electronic headaches that can sometimes plague those who remove their tailgate.
Does STG fit my truck and slide-in camper?
The Ford STG is designed to fit 2017-2025 F250, F350, and F450 Super Duty trucks. Regular and Long bed.
If your slide-in camper or any appertunces do not drop below the plane of the truck bed, this bracket will likely work.
Pictures show an 8-2 installed on an F350 pickup.

Is it easy to install?
ABSOLUTELY!
Install is super easy due to its design. This bracket utilizes the same fastener holes the tailgate cables use. This means you never drill on your truck and removing/installing is as simple as tightening/loosing some bolts.
How can I be sure it'll work for my slide-in camper?
This bracket is meant to reduce headaches, not cause them.
